Months ago Michael Moore predicted Trump would be a real threat during the election, but no one wanted to listen. Now it’s time to pay attention because he’s predicting Mr. Demagogue will not become president after all.
Moore just visited the Late Night With Seth Meyers show to talk about the election. He predicts the Electoral College is going to deny Trump the presidency once and for all.
Moore hates that his first prediction regarding Trump’s success has come true. “I never wanted to be more wrong. It didn’t seem possible.”
But even with just six weeks left until Trump starts his presidency, Moore has hope. He believes the Electoral College is going to send Trump lacking in defeat.
“I’d like to make another prediction tonight,” Moore said. “He’s not president till noon on January 20th of 2017 … in these next six weeks, something else might happen — something crazy, something we’re not expecting.”
This crazy and unexpected event would be the Electoral College not giving Trump the 270 votes he needs to be president. If Moore is right, then, Americans won’t have to deal with four years of Trump’s tyranny after all.
Moore thinks Trump the electors will deny Trump because he got walloped so bad in the popular vote. “He’s going to not have a mandate, the majority of our fellow Americans do not want him in the White House,” he said.
With every fiber of our beings, we hope Moore is right on this prediction too. The fate of America hangs in the balance, so let’s hope our electors do their job by rejecting Mr. Demagogue.
Please share this story with everyone – we have to let the American people know that there’s still a chance to stop Trump. If our electors see that enough of us oppose Trump, they’ll do the right thing by denying him once and for all.
